A corner room in the Main Lodge built around its fireplace, laid from stones hauled off local fields a century ago and still drawing well.
The smallest room in the Lodge, and the one guests who come for the fire and the books tend to keep coming back to.

By the fire.
The fire is laid every afternoon and lit whenever you want it. Two chairs face it, and there is very little reason to face anywhere else.
The woodpile is outside the door, should you want to keep it going past midnight.

The bath.
A walk-in shower with a waterfall head, walled in local stone, and heated floors underfoot.
No tub here; the shower makes the case on its own.

In this room
A fieldstone fireplace · A walk-in waterfall shower · Two chairs at the fire · A queen bed
Heated bathroom floors · Use of the boats, 10am–6pm
