A Guest House room that changes character twice a day: sunlit through the afternoon, lamplit after dark.

Its fieldstone fireplace is set into a windowed alcove facing the bed, so the fire and the lake share the same view.

The alcove.

The alcove holds the fireplace and a pair of chairs, with windows either side of the chimney. It is the warmest corner of the Guest House.

The lamps are on dimmers, and the staff will set them before you come back from dinner.
