620 sq. ft. · King, raised
Lookout
From $4,900 per night, all-inclusive
High in the trees on the lake side of the Eagle’s Nest, panelled in painted wood and coloured like the forest outside it — deep green, berry red, gold.
The bed is raised to the height of the windows, so the first thing you see in the morning is the water through the branches.

In the trees.
The windows open onto the canopy rather than the ground. On a still morning you hear the lake before you see it.
A pair of field glasses is kept on the sill, for the loons and whoever is out in a boat.

The bath.
A painted-wood bathroom with a deep tub and a separate shower, and heated floors.
The window over the basin frames a single white pine.

In this room
Painted wood panelling · A raised king bed at the windows · Field glasses on the sill · A stone fireplace
Heated bathroom floors · Use of the boats, 10am–6pm
